This year we will be supporting nine families living at Michael House. You should have received information about your child and mother this week in your homeroom. Please continue to bring in gift cards or make cash donations through School Cash Online. Just remember that every little bit helps. If you would like to participate and you don’t have a homeroom, please drop off your cards in Room 103. Also, I just wanted to let you know that the class that brings in the most amount of money per person will win an ice-cream party. If we reach our goal of $4000 the school will be awarded a civies day. Let’s make a difference together and make sure that all of the children living at Michael House have an amazing Christmas!

The girls were triumphant in their first two sets, and came close to winning the both the third and the fourth. By the time the girls played the fifth set, morale was very high thanks to the radiating positivity both on and off the court, leading for the girls to come out strong with a 15-2 victory! Way to go Celtics!

A MEMBER OF OUR HOPE FOR THE HOLIDAYS WILL READ: Hey Celtics, our annual Hope for the Holidays Christmas Drive with Michael House has begun. "Since 2003 Michael House has grown from a humble three-bedroom house to a six-bedroom residence offering space to young women and their babies. Their mission is to provide shelter and support to pregnant and parenting women and their children in need." Donations will be accepted up until Thursday December 8th. We will be accepting gift cards or cash donations through School Cash Online. The gift cards purchased will be delivered to Michael House before Christmas, so that the mothers will be able to buy presents for their children. Thank you so much for your support. Let’s make a difference together this holiday season!
Let us pray that the flame of the Spirit will descend upon us. Father in heaven, fifty days have celebrated the fullness of the mystery of your revealed love. See your people gathered in prayer, open to receive the Spirit's flame. May it come to rest in our hearts and disperse the divisions of word and tongue. With one voice and one song may we praise your name in joy and thanksgiving. Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen
