November 13th to 20th is Transgender awareness week. This is an opportunity for us all to learn more about being inclusive. Inclusivity starts with the language that we use. Cisgender is an adjective that describes a person who does identify as the gender they were assigned at birth Thanks for taking time this week to learn how we can make our school a safer place for everyone.
Please join us at Your Pathways - Your Choice career fair. A one-stop resource fair, with 30+ business and education exhibitors showcasing a wide variety of occupations representing apprenticeship, college, university and the workplace. The City of Guelph Recreation Department is recruiting for their Winter and Summer programs. They are looking for volunteers 14 years and older to assist in the following programs:
Learn to Swim - at the West End Community Centre and Victoria Road Recreation Centres
The Inclusion Program at the West End Community Centre
March Break Camps – they need counsellors for the Day Camps as well as Swim Volunteers
Summer Day Camps- they also need day camp counsellors and swim volunteers
