November 13th to 20th is Transgender awareness week. This is an opportunity for us all to learn more about being inclusive. Inclusivity starts with the language that we use. Gender Affirmation is any step or steps a person takes to affirm their gender identity. Everyone engages in gender affirmation, even if you aren't thinking about it. Thanks for taking time this week to learn how we can make our school a safer place for everyone.
