Welcome to the LLC
Our Library Learning Commons LLC is open 8-4pm, including lunch. Staff, students and visitors are encouraged to use the LLC and attached meeting room for studying, group collaboration, events, classes, printing, individual work or professional development.
Bishop Macdonell's LLC collection development is ongoing and reflects the curriculum and interests of our school community. Current acquisition of print materials support WCDSB's Equity and Inclusion initiatives, and the expansion of our graphic novel and other collections to include titles in a variety of languages and from diverse voices. Visit our Library/Learning Commons online for new and current titles at Bishop Mac.
Links to available eResources, including SORA audio and ebooks, Learn-360, Access Science and Gale Databases can be explored anytime using the Library/Learning Commons (LLC) Online. Students and staff have access to thousands of online journal/news/magazine articles, video resources, and the research and citation tool, NoodleTools.
Book, Netbook and Board Game loans are available through the LLC. Users may visit the Library Learning Commons on the 2nd floor to borrow materials. Netbooks are due daily by 3:45pm.
Printing is also available to students ($0.10/pg)
