Last Friday, Bishop Macdonell Catholic High School grade 9 International Baccalaureate (IB) Foundations science students and grade 11 IB students participated in a Water Quality Study as part of their grade 9 IB Foundations science and IB TOK (Theory of Knowledge) classes.
As part of the Water Quality Study, Grade 9 IB Foundations science students worked with Grade 11 Year 1 IB mentors to conduct a field study in which they use an index of the invertebrate species collected to determine the water quality of the Eramosa and Speed Rivers.
