There is an athletic council meeting in room 201 today at lunch. See you there!

This is just a reminder to the members of the curling team that you will be released from class today at 2:45. Please meet Mrs. P in the front foyer.

Hope for the Holidays member will read the following: Hi everyone! I am here to talk to you about our annual Hope for the Holidays Drive. This year we will be supporting nine families living at Michael House. You should have received information about your child and mother this week in your homeroom. Please continue to bring in gift cards or make cash donations through School Cash Online. Just remember that every little bit helps. If you would like to participate and you don’t have a homeroom, please drop off your cards in Room 103. Also, I just wanted to let you know that the class that brings in the most amount of money per person will win an ice-cream party. If we reach our goal of $4000 the school will be awarded a civies day. Let’s make a difference together and make sure that all of the children living at Michael House have an amazing Christmas!

The Senior Girls Volleyball team fought hard last night for a victory against Orangeville in their season-opener. The girls worked together as a team and showcased their incredible talent in all five sets. The girls were triumphant in their first two sets, and came close to winning the both the third and the fourth. By the time the girls played the fifth set, morale was very high thanks to the radiating positivity both on and off the court, leading for the girls to come out strong with a 15-2 victory! Way to go Celtics!

The junior girls volleyball team pulled out a 3-1 set win for their first game against ODSS. The team did well thanks to the active leadership and energy of team captains Ava Castallarin and Jade Parnell. Player of the game goes to Nikole Mija for her incredible vocals and movement on the court. Their next games will be at a tournament this Friday. Good luck, Jr. Celtics!

Tomorrow is a jersey add on day for the world cup. If you don't have a jersey, you can wear red or any Canada gear.

Attention junior girls' basketball players, the team photo scheduled for today has been postponed until a later date.
